My research focuses on how focal brain lesions lead to behavioral changes in stroke patients. Generally, I am interested in how the location of a lesion influences behavioral changes. Specifically, I am investigating how lesion location modifies a patient's likelihood of developing post-stroke pain and somatic complaints. Our long-term goal is to be able to predict, on the basis of lesion location, which stroke patients have an increased chance of developing post stroke pain.
