๐ Congratulations, Dr. Avery Van De Water!
The Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Neuroscience extends a huge congratulations to Avery Van De Water, PhD, on successfully defending their doctoral thesis!
Avery, a member of the Dorit Kliemann Laboratory in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences, defended their thesis, โEncoding patterns of dynamic audiovisual social stimuli in autism spectrum disorder,โ on Wednesday, September 9.
Their research examines how the brain processes complex social information using video fMRI and encoding models, contributing to our understanding of dynamic audiovisual social processing in autism spectrum disorder.
This achievement marks the culmination of years of research, discovery, perseverance, and dedication. We are incredibly proud of Avery and all they have accomplished throughout their doctoral journey.
Congratulations, Dr. Van De Water! ๐ We are so excited to celebrate this tremendous milestone with you and look forward to seeing where your research and career take you next!
