I am a Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Scholar alumnus from the University of Missouri. My research interests center on neurodevelopment, epigenetics, and the impact of early life experiences. Specifically, I am driven to understand how early environmental stressors become biologically embedded, altering developmental trajectories and modulating long-term susceptibility to mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders. I am excited to learn multidisciplinary approaches to explore these mechanisms during my doctoral training at Iowa.
