In a field where thousands of studies are published every year, synthesizing neuroimaging findings can be a daunting challenge. James Kent has developed Neurosynth Compose, a web-based platform designed to streamline and standardize meta-analyses, making them more transparent, reproducible, and efficient. The platform integrates expert-guided study selection with automated data collection, leveraging a database of over 30,000 studies and advanced analysis tools to create what Kent calls “living” meta-analyses that can evolve as new research emerges. This innovation represents a significant step forward in advancing collaboration and rigor in the neuroimaging community.
