On Thursday, September 11, 2025, the Neuroscience Graduate Program gathered at Dan’s Farm for its annual Fall Welcome Picnic, a tradition that marks the start of a new academic year. Students, faculty, and staff came together to enjoy food, conversation, and a chance to connect outside the classroom and laboratory.
A highlight of the event was the continuation of a cherished program tradition—the cohort photo. The incoming class of 2025 proudly wore their program shirts as they posed for their first complete official group picture. This year’s snapshot was especially meaningful, as all members of the new cohort were present, symbolizing a strong start to their graduate journey.
The Fall Welcome Picnic has long been a cornerstone event for the program, fostering community spirit and celebrating the growth of the program’s vibrant academic family. With a mix of new faces and returning students, the gathering set a welcoming tone for the year ahead.
