Matt McGregor Successfully Defends Doctoral Thesis
The Neuroscience Graduate Program is pleased to announce that Matt McGregor successfully presented and defended his doctoral thesis on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
His thesis, titled "Distinct, Learning-Dependent Neural Mechanisms Regulating Cocaine and Heroin Seeking," explores the neurobiological underpinnings of substance use disorders, with a focus on how different learning processes influence drug-seeking behavior.
