Biography

Control mechanisms for upper limb movements to visual targets are the focus of research in my laboratory. Current projects include: (1) effects of lesions of posterior parietal cortex in humans on visual and kinesthetic perception and on control of reaching movements and (2) effects of lesions in monkeys of cerebral motor areas on projections of non-lesioned motor areas to spinal cord and recovery of hand/digit movement control to acquire visual targets.
