Gabi's Statement

I chose the University of Iowa because of its strong sense of community, emphasis on collaboration, and student-centered support! My broad interest in Neuroscience is tied to brain circuitry dysfunction and disease in rodent models. In particular, how we can study these systems to better diagnose, treat, and prevent debilitating disorders. I look forward to exploring this relationship between the brain and disease in my rotations with Dr. Catherine Marcinkiewcz, Dr. Jason Radley, and Dr. Matthew Potthoff.
