2017 graduate Arianna Rigon has recently been awarded the Rex Montgomery Dissertation Prize. This prize is awarded to doctoral students whose research focuses on disease prevention or translational disease research. 

The title of Arianna's dissertation “Structural and functional neural networks underlying facial affect recognition impairment following traumatic brain injury”. Her mentors were Michelle Voss and Melissa Duff. She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Vanderbilt University in the Department of Hearing & Speech Sciences.
