My interests focus on the realm of developmental neuroscience, specifically, synapse formation and plasticity.

While the majority of the lab's projects focus on defining the cellular pathways that mediate survival of spiral ganglion neurons in the auditory system, my research project investigates early synapse formation in the auditory cortex.

My projects include: describing how early auditory input influences the rate of cortical synapse formation during early development and investigating cellular and molecular signals that modulate early synapse formation in the auditory cortex.
