Current research activities:
I am researching the role and regulation of mitochondrial dynamics in both brain function and dysfunction, including neurodegenerative diseases (such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Diseases) or after a stroke.

General experience:
Since our neuroscience program is interdisciplinary, it allows students access to a broad range of research. For my own research, I interact with P.I.s from several departments and through these collaborations I am able to access specialized techniques that are not available in my department.
