Most of my undergraduate was completed at the University of Calgary (double degree program in Psychology and Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology), but I transferred to Iowa State for my final year and graduated with a BS in Zoology.
Research interests: 

I am interested in the role that glia play in the nervous system—particularly their actions at glutamatergic synapses

Current projects: 

I am currently involved in a project that is interested in understanding the localization, the dynamic rearrangement and the effects of activity on an astrocytic glutamate transporter, GLT-1.
